Statement on The Visible Unity of The Church

Our unity in the Lordship of Jesus Christ is expressed in visible unity through the following:

- The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the revealed Word of God.

- The Nicene Creed as the sufficient statement of the Christian Faith.

- The two Sacraments, Baptism and the Supper of the Lord, ministered with unfailing use of Christ's words of institution and of the elements ordained by Him.

- The Historic Episcopate, locally adapted in the methods of its administration to the varying needs of the nations and peoples called of God into the unity of His Church.

Our Beliefs

Sacred Scripture

We affirm that the 66 books of The Bible are inspired by God, and that they are infallible for all matters of Christian faith and practice.

Evangelical, Charismatic, and Sacramental

We are a Province of The CEEC. The Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches is a worldwide Christian Communion of 20,000 congregations and 200 bishops in 70 nations.  We holistically express the Evangelical, Charismatic, and Sacramental streams of the Christian faith. We are a communion of churches that are unified by the essentials of the faith, connecting to the ancient, and pressing forward toward the future; while hearing what God is saying today.

Statement on the Sanctity of Human Life

God, and not people, is the creator of human life. The unjustified taking of life is sinful. Therefore, all members and Clergy are called to promote and respect the sanctity of every human life from conception to natural death.

Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality

In Matthew 19 Jesus Christ defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman. A Christian sexual ethic is expressed through celibacy in singleness or faithfulness in marriage between one woman and one man.”
