Fr. Kirk Shepard
Short Bio.
Hello, I have over 30 years of ministry experience, serving in churches, parachurch organizations, schools, law enforcement chaplaincy, and juvenile justice. I was ordained as a priest in the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches (CEEC) in 2012.
From the beginning of my Christian journey, I've felt drawn to expressions of the larger church, to see the big picture beyond the slice of Christianity called the "denomination". In doing so, I discovered the ancient Christian Celtic Church of the British Isles and was drawn to its Spirit-led, evangelical-minded liturgy. Then I found Convergence, and the three streams of the CEEC, whose goal is to bring the body of Christ together- and I found my home.
I'm married to Molly, a high school teacher, and we are blessed with four children and two grandchildren.
